Feed by Grace

At Feed by Grace we believe that homelessness is not about housing, food, or clothing, although these are essential.  Homelessness is about an overwhelming sense of lessness that burdens folks who hit rock bottom.  It does not have to be permanent though, Feed by Grace believes the real solution to homelessness is found in the spirit -- through love and relationships. Serving as a volunteer involves a level of commitment to see a project through or to assist over a period of time. Volunteers help the ministry function and allow us to offer some programs we could not do without your help.

Center for Life -

Center for Life is a volunteer-based, ecumenical organization dedicated to putting faith and love into action by helping without discrimination the people of Palo Pinto County, Texas, alleviate poverty through faith education and mentoring.  We are a partnership that relies on generous philanthropy of churches, businesses, and individuals to help those caught in the vicious cycle of poverty.  We strive to help alleviate the short-term effects of poverty, but also help each person develop a plan of action to escape the bondage of poverty.

Children's Alliance Center

The CACPPC exists largely because there were 114 confirmed cases of child abuse or neglect in Palo Pinto County in 2011, an average of 2.1 per week.  A task force comprised of prosecutors, law enforcement, Child Protective Service investigators, church, school and community members came together to create a solution in the fight against child abuse in Palo Pinto County: a children's advocacy center. This citizen and partner-agency group formed the Children's Alliance Center for Palo Pinto County.

New Haven Ministries

New Haven Ministries is dedicated to meeting the needs of people in need.  Our goal is to provide food, clothes, and shelter to these people and help them to maintain their dignity and family unity.  To strengthen the family even though they are in a crisis situation and help them maintain their faith in each other and their faith in the Lord.

A great way to help people in need and enjoy doing it is to schedule a group to come and help make up food baskets or help at the Family Center.
